The renovation of our hotel has been completed, and we’re very excited to have had our new accommodations ready for the Summer season! Our beautiful new decks have received rave reviews from our guests, who are loving the outdoor space overlooking our wonderful city! Our Superior Kings with walk out decks can now be reserved on our website!
We now have two spacious new Studio Suites, Studio East and Studio West. Our Studio Suites are over 500 square feet. Studio East overlooks Silver Street and the Custom House Building and Studio West overlooks Market Street with views of the Old Port. These King Bedded Suites feature a seating area with a pull out sofa, desk, a table and chairs, and a walk out deck with city views. The room has a kitchenette outfitted with a microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig Coffee Maker. The bathroom features marble countertops, an all tile interior, and an oversized glassed in shower with a rain shower head.

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa 
My husband and I have been going to the Regency for close to the 25 years celebration. We have seen over the years all the accomodating caring changes. The restaurant relocation, ( beautiful ambiance in the evening and delcious breakfast in a sun filled room with a warm fireplace) the sitting room with the coffee/tea urn relocation ( one less set of stairs on a tired morning) to enjoy the first cup of coffee The spa- the hot tub- which was once a gym – has been converted into a “relaxing gem”.The renovation of the rooms, change of decor, upgrade of the pillows, mattresses and coverlets have all been special touches. Now the suites, the balconies to overlook the harbor and the downtown. Very nice. And of course the pub! Just was the other two weeks ago and was as pleasurable as ever.
The consitency in staff and care is admirable .The same courteous gentleman who parks the cars (who used to be the maitre d in the once lower dining room.) The housekeeper is still the same caring attendent. She always leaves us extra chocolate (since she knows my husband loves that treat). and of course the weather forecast. The front office staff have always been most gracious and helpful especially when I inadvertantly booked the wrong dates.
We love love every season in Portland. The walks in the autumn, the Christmas Tree lighting and shopping, the Island trips and watching some of the weddings!
